Axis bank stock on last trading session closed at 1422 with loss. On daily chart, stock price trend and momentum is bullish. After making top at 1480, prices now seeing some profit booking and heading towards support zones to test them.

For month of April, Axis bank stock above 1275 will remain buy on dips. Currently on downside, 1400 and 1330 are support zones while 1470 and 1530 are strong resistances. Fresh buying must be avoided, as risk reward ratio is not favourable.

Nevertheless, those brought stock on lower levels must trail stop loss below 1330 and expect targets of 1470 to 1530 in next 1 month. Daily chart indicators pattern are bearish and suggest downside for stock prices because of correction.

On upside 1450 and 1680 are strong resistances zones as well as targets for next 3 to 8 months period. Weekly chart indicators are with mixed patterns.

From medium term view, buying suggest near 1200 rupee levels only if correction comes. At current level, risk reward is not favourable.

Axis bank stock in last six month had given 32% returns to investors and outperformed the markets. On downside, 1150-1200 is major support area and above it stock will continue to trend higher. On upside 1715 is 12-month target level while 2250 is 2-3 years target zone. For investors 730-800 was best buy zones and stock had repeatedly taken support at that area. This level was last seen in august 2013. While 250-350 is value buy-zone and which was last seen in March 2009. Fundamentally, stock is good but at current level looks expensive.
