Nifty Aug future today closed at 7907 with 101 points gains. In intraday nifty hit high around 7926 while low was at 7665. Total almost 250 + points intraday volatility and closed with gains as expected. As I already suggest 7800 is the bottom and we may see volatility around it. on upside expect 8010 is first technical target level for nifty and if nifty takes out that level then expiry is possible above 8160. Today almost 4% open interest addition seen suggest long added to system. Nifty 8000 call option writing was seen today.
Banknifty Aug future today closed at 17249 with gain of 488 points. In intraday banknifty future hit high around 17275 while low was at 16642. Total almost 700 points intraday range and closed with gain. For banknifty 16500 was bottom and today index tried to test it. Now 16950 is trailing stop loss for long positions and target will be 17560 and 18000 till expiry. In bullish environment 18650 also possible till this calendar month end. 14% cut in open interest shows shorts got exit from market. Banknifty 17500 call option writing was seen today.
In nifty 50 stocks, YESBANK and TATAMOTORS are top gainers with 7 to 8% gains. While TATAPOWER and HDFC lost 6 to 2%. In F&O, IBREALEST and DLF rallies almost 20%. While TATAPOWER and JUSTDIAL lost 5-6%. In buzzing stocks, ECEIND and INSECTICID are today’s top gainers.
