Nifty Aug future today closed at 8470 with gain of 52 points. In intraday nifty future hit high around 8499 while low was at 8430. Total 70 points intraday range and closed with gain. 31% addition in open interest suggest long rollovers. Option side nifty 8700 call options writing seen. For tomorrow watch 8505 as strong resistance. Above it expect another buying spree up to 8735. If fails to cross 8505 then might result in correction up to 8250.
Banknifty Aug future today closed at 18538 with gain of 98 points. In intraday, banknifty future hit high around 18609 while low was at 18475. Total 150 points intraday range and closed with gain. 58% open interest addition suggest long rollovers by investors. Option side, banknifty 19000 call options writing seen. For intraday 18425 is support and above it expect minimum upside up to 18750. If closed above 18750 then rally might extend up to 19350 in Aug series.
In nifty 50 stocks, PNB and BOB seen value buying on lower levels and closed with almost 10% gains. NMDC continue to make fresh 52 weeks low and SUNPHARMA also tumbled by 2%. In F&O market, UNITECH is top gainer by 18% and then PNB with 10% gains. On loser’s side, AJANTPHARM and NMDC lost 2-3%. In buzzing stocks, RUBYMILLS and ESSDEE locked to 20% circuit.
