Nifty Aug future today closed at 8494 with loss of 51 points. In intraday, nifty fut hit high around 8560 while low was at 8461. Total 100 points intraday range and closed with loss on continues profit booking. 0.22% cut in open interest also reflecting it. Option side, nifty 8600 call options writing seen today. For tomorrow 8480 and 8355 are support zones as well as target zones for current trend. On upside 8560 and 8630 are strong resistances as well as stop losses for short positions.
Banknifty Aug future today closed at 18699 with loss of 261 points. In intraday, banknifty future hit high around 18999 while low was at 18630. Almost 400 points intraday range and closed with loss. 10% open interest suggesting strong hands short addition in banknifty index. Option side, banknifty 19500 call options writing seen. For tomorrow, 18300 and then 18070 are strong support zones while on upside 18780 and 19000 are strong resistances as well as stop loss for short positions.
In nifty 50 stocks, SBIN and TATASTEEL lost 5-6% while INFY and TECHM rallied 2-3% on weak rupee. In F&O segment, AJANTPHARM and DIVISLAB closed with 4% gains while APOLLOTYRE tumbled by 13% and JISLJALEQS lost almost 9%. In buzzing stocks, MUKTAARTS and TAINWALCHM closed with 20% circuit.
