Nifty Sep future today closed at 7846 with gain of 105 points. In intraday nifty hit high around 7870 while low was at 7759. Total 110 points intraday range and closed with gains on value buying as well as short covering as expected. Expect follow buying as well as short covering to continue ahead. I expect to Short covering will become intense with time. Today half a percent cut in open interest reflect that. Nifty 8000 call option writing is seen today. Here keep buy on decline view for targets 7960 and then 8130. On downside 7790 is trailing stop loss for active traders.
Banknifty Sep future today closed at 16572 with gain of 290 points. In intraday banknifty future hit high around 16630 while low was at 16305. Total 300 points range and closing with strong buying as well as short covering by strong hands. 10% cut in open interest show the same. Banknifty 18000 call option writing seen today. Here above 16650 expect next targets at 17150 and then 17640.
In nifty 50 stocks, CAIRN and TATASTEEL closed with 5% gains while IDEA and BPCL gone home with 1 to 3% cuts. In F&O stocks, DLF and JSWENERGY rallied by 8 to 10% and AMTEKAUTO tumbled by 35% and KSCL lost 5%. In buzzing stocks, CAREERP and ROSSELLIND locked to 20% circuit.
